The client requested a simple, cartoon-style watercolor
portrait of their daughter, focusing on a half-face composition.
The goal was to create a piece that reflected her personality
and artistic preferences.

Design Process
To begin, I studied photographs of the client’s daughter and
cross-referenced them with her favorite artists online. This
allowed me to identify stylistic elements she admired and
integrate them into the final work. I chose bright, saturated
watercolors to capture her vibrant personality and interests,
while simplifying the facial features to maintain a playful,
cartoon-like quality. The half-face framing emphasized
individuality and gave the portrait a modern, stylized feel that
balanced personal likeness with artistic interpretation.
