The goal was to portray a beetle using non‑realistic colors,
creating a piece that felt imaginative and expressive rather
than naturalistic.

Design Process
I drew inspiration from a beetle design in Animal Crossing and
cross‑referenced it with real beetles of varying colors. After
sketching out a quick concept, I painted the final piece in
acrylics, deliberately choosing unconventional hues to
emphasize creativity over realism. The result is a playful,
abstract interpretation that blends gaming inspiration with
artistic experimentation.
